Paradiddle began piano lessons at the age of three.  He composed his first sonata at the age of nine, concerto ten, symphony ten, opera at eleven.  Paradiddle claimed that he could see musical ideas as colors.  He could even grab music in the air and manipulate it like clay…..PSYCH

Born in Cleveland in 1987, Dwayne Johnson Paradiddle (DJ Paraddidle) attended Hannah Perkins and University School before heading north to the University of Michigan.  Diddle began his professional drumming career at nine, when his father paid him five dollars to play “Wipe Out” at a Hanukkah party.  After his bar mitzvah, Para started playing regularly with his father’s band, Yiddishe Cup Klezmer Band.

He played jazz around town and took lessons with Bill Ransom while Paradoodle’s high school band, Calvin Coolidge, was making a splash in the local Rock-Off scene.  During his freshman year of high school, Diddle bought an electric bass because it looked pretty.  Soon after, he bought a Steve Jordan instructional video and decided he wanted to be more like him.  Paraditsky finished high school and left for college, where he found himself drumset-less.  He resorted to buying an AKAI midi pad and making beats in his dorm room.

Paradiddle, throughout his career, has made eye-contact/spoken words with Harold Remis, Steve Miller’s cousin, Paquito de Rivera, Bernard Purdie, SoCalled and My Dear Disco…so yeah, no big deal, but yeah, pretty big deal.

Paradiddle is in college going for a BFA in Performing Arts Technology and trying to live up to this Website.
