I won the “New Music on the Block” competition again, thus completing the hat trick.  I just posted some video from the winners’ concert on the “vids” page.  There will be a snazzy three camera edited version too, but i kinda like the auto compression on the Flip Video camera - the Alan Douglass school.

We will get in the studio to drop a CR8zy version later this semester.  I’m thinking horns too.

I’m back at school.  The grind never stops…well it stopped for about two weeks, but it has surely started again.  I got some projs lined up.  Yiddishe Cup is coming to the ark Feb 7th.  Just signed on to make the music for Cristina Calvar’s senior dance recitial.  Some local klez stuff.  Might sample my drumkit if Conover is down (are you down?).  Block M with Agar and Douglas, might put a vid of the concert online (very fun show).  Gonna get in the studio w/ Zukoff.  GROOVE is prepping for one of the most historic shows of all time.

BLick updated the site with some gnarly features.  Yall know Blick by now doh.  I just deleted the utilities folder on my comp somehow.  Trying to fix that.  Bought some nines for BLick’s electric, i can hear the bends already.  I’m rambling, peace…

No, not at the airport silly.  Two good friends and fellow PAT majors,  Chris Conover and Brian Trahan, were assigned to do a short profile on someone for their video class.  When asked to star, I humbly replied, “but what about someone cooler, like Steve Rush or Miley Cyrus.”  Chris replied, “yes…but they were unavailable.”  And so it goes.  I’m not complaining, the vid came out great.

I know I’m having a great time with this new web-world.  It is so fun and easy.  Gotta give it up for Blick.  He even set up this code where Google can track the site and give me some pretty detailed web-stats.

Google can get pretty intense too.  Like if you have a web-cam, Google will take a snapshot and compile the image into a list of visitors with your name and #SS.  Google also came up with a way to track mood by using touch sensitive keyboards to track the heat of your fingers (not unlike a mood ring).  I can see, in real time, how a person’s emotions change as they navigate the site.

I’m JKing of course.  But Google does tell me which countries visit my site the most.  Here are the top 5:

2. Germany
3. Australia   
4. United Kingdom
5. France

USA takes the gold, but there is still a lot of time left until the web is obsolete.  GET CLICKIN

You may be wondering why I am putting all my stuff online for free.  Shouldn’t I be releasing a solo album on cdbaby.com and guilting you into buying it even though you already have it on your itunes ripped from online flash files?  My answer: maybe.

I have decided to take a different approach to my online presence.  It is the craigslist approach.  I will release all my music for free, and once I’m a national sensation, I will charge $75 per song in the Bay Area, and $25 per song in New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Seattle, Washington D.C., Chicago.  Maybe I will add Portland down the road.  Who knows what craigslist will do next?  I don’t, but I do know that I will also do it 3 months after.

I think they’ve done it.  The site is going public. You may know this because you are reading this text.  How ironic.  Like today this kid wore the same shirt as me, sooooo ironic.

In the words of House of Pain, “jump around” the site.  There is plenty to explore.  Yes those randomized vectors.  And yes that is an editable headline.  SICK.  Give it up for……BLICKWICKLE.  Cat is crazy.
